On your way, you will cross the Argan trees forest, where you will spot some goats climbing the trees. Stop and take some photos before you carry on to Essaouira.
To watch how the Argan oil (also called the liquid gold, or Moroccan oil) is extracted, you will visit a local ladies’ cooperative and learn how some fine cosmetic products are locally made out of the rich Argan oil.
From here, we will carry on to Essaouira. Upon arrival, you will explore the beautiful city at leisure. Out of experience, Exploring Essaouira is easy on your own: Locals are very friendly, the Medina is pretty small (compared to other old towns in Morocco), and its streets are in order. You definitely do not need a guide for the tour of the city. You can easily explore the Medina on your own as its streets are aligned opposite to each other unlike every other maze-like Medina in Morocco. Should you insist on one, your driver will help you hire a local guide.
First, you can visit the harbor with its fishing port and old Portuguese fortifications. You can still see medieval war cannons aligned in order overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Continue to the Medina ( old city ) with its well kept fortification dating to the 18th century. The major landmark of the Medina is La Scala, which was built against foreign attacks from the sea. You can continue to Bab Laalouj ( One of the main gates of Essaouira, then to the Mellah ( the old Jewish quarter.
Along the way, various art shops, galleries, souvenir shops and thuya wood craft shops are aligned in order. Choose one of the local cafes for a delicious seafood lunch and head to Kasbah famous for having served as a military bastion. If you are a beach lover, enjoy a walk along the sandy beach of Mogador, and maybe watch locals playing beach ball. If you are brave enough, why not join a game for a few minutesPeople from Essaouira are very friendly!! If not you can sunbathe while watching waterspouts amateurs kitesurfing or windsurfing.
Late in the afternoon, drive back to Marrakech, and your full day tour to Essaouira will end with a drop off at your hotel or the nearest car accessible point to your riad

This former Glaoui residence, located on the edge of the town, on the road to Morocco Sahara desert, is considered to be one of the most beautiful kasbahs of Morocco. It consists of a maze of luxury apartments, simple clay houses and crenelated towers, which are lavishly decorated with geometric motifs. Part of the fortified village is open to the public. After some time at leisure for a cup of mint tea or coffee, drive back to Marrakech later in the afternoon while crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Day trip to ourika Valley
MARRAKECH – OURIKA VALLEY – MARRAKECH
This day trip will take us out of Marrakech at 09.00 am and head south for the beauty and splendour that is the Ourika Valley. The journey time would usually be around an hour and a half to reach Setti Fatma, but there is so much to see on the way that we’ll be stopping off at regular intervals to take in the sights and sounds of this beautiful Ourika Valley. As we move from Marrakech to Ourika Valley waterfalls for our first part of the journey you may want to observe the lush green hillsides, Berber villages and rolling hills. There are rivers here that meander through the valley and there will be no end of opportunities to take some dramatic landscape shots on your camera. We will stop off at some of these typical Berber villages to allow you to soak in what everyday life is all about for these local peoples. As we continue our drive through the valley we begin to approach the more mountainous passes of the Atlas range by heading to Setti Fatma. There are several small (and some much larger) waterfalls along the route here and not all of them are packed with tourists. We advise you to bring along some hiking boots as we will go on a short trail through to some of the Setti Fatma Cascades (waterfalls). You should also bring with you some swimwear and sunblock as we may have an opportunity to plunge into some small pools that gather at the foot of the waterfalls. It is also a good idea to bring along a change of clothing as we could be getting up close to the waterfalls where there will be plenty of back spray to cool you down. And don’t forget to bring along some warm clothing as the end part of journey goes up to the communal society town Sti Fadma, where it can be very cool, even in summer. You should bring along a packed lunch with you on this trip but there are many cafes and restaurants in some of the Berber villages on our day trip. However, the most important thing to bring is the camera as this experience simply has to be captured on film. The hike to Setti Fatma waterfalls goes through the valley after which we shall return back to Marrakech the same way we came. Arrival back in the city is around 5.00 pm
